Announcing Our Next Speaker Series Event!

We have teamed up with Lick-Wilmerding High School to host a special event featuring Julie Lythcott-Haims, former Dean of Freshmen at Stanford University. Her new book, How to Raise an Adult, explores the “overparenting” phenomenon and gives parents practical advice to step back and let their children lead more independent, meaningful lives.

During her talk, Julie Lythcott-Haims will discuss these issues in depth and share strategies for parents to help their children become more resilient and self-sufficient, so they may successfully navigate adulthood on their own. This talk is geared toward parents of middle and high schoolers, and all are welcome.
