Event Description:
Millennium School, a new independent middle school, and San Francisco Friends School, an independent K-8 school, are thrilled to host a special event featuring Dr. Madeline Levine. Dr. Levine’s extensive work as a clinical psychologist has given her a front-row seat to what’s really troubling children and teenagers today. Her New York Times bestselling books, The Price of Privilege and Teach Your Children Well, explore these issues in depth and provide parents with solutions to help their children (and families) lead healthier and happier lives. She is also co-founder of Challenge Success, a research-based organization that offers students, parents, and schools alternative models for success that lead to more authentic, purpose-driven lives.
Dr. Levine’s talk will be geared towards parents of middle schoolers (and almost middle schoolers). She will discuss ways to help your children know themselves better, so they may navigate the world tenaciously and with purpose.
Free and open to the public.
